Member for Algester Congratulates Local Police

Member for Algester Leeanne Enoch today congratulated two police officers from the Browns Plains Police Station for receiving Medals for great service.

Inspector Dowdy will be in receipt of the 35 Year Clasp to the QPSM (Queensland Police Service Medal)

Queensland Police Service Medal
Awarded in recognition of 10 years of diligent and ethical service by a member of the QPS. A clasp may be awarded every subsequent 5 years.

Constable McEwan will be in receipt of an Assistant Commissioner Certificate (Operational)

Assistant Commissioner and Executive Director's Certificate (Operational)

For exceeding expectations in execution of duty in an operational field

“Both Inspector Dowdy and Constable McEwan have proudly served the Queensland community and I am pleased to recognise these men today. These medal represent the service and we are very privileged to have great officers in our community”. Ms Enoch said.

Leeanne will join Inspector Dowdy and Constable McEwan at 12:00 pm at the Browns Plains Police Station on Friday 3rd of June.
