Member for Algester Leeanne Enoch was happy to lend her support for the push for the Men’s shed for the local community.
“I have met with representatives of the Forest Lake Men’s Shed Inc to provide assistance in getting support from the community for a physical location for a Men’s shed”.
“Men’s Sheds provide a place for men in the community to build friendships, widen their social sphere and encourage and support men’s health and wellbeing. I encourage everyone to sign the expression of support and add their name to the list calling for a physical location”.
Across all levels of government there is support for the establishment of a place for men to come together.
If we can establish community support I can point to that support to aid the Men’s shed in finding a suitable location.
